About FHS

  • Fayetteville is located in the northwest corner of Arkansas.Its enrollment, grades 10-12 is approximately 2,000 students.
  • Fayetteville is the home of the University of Arkansas and the Razorbacks.Fayetteville High was the first school south of the Mason-Dixon Line to integrate.
  • The academic programs at FHS are excellent. Approximately 70% of our graduates attend college; with the average ACT score near 24.
  • The administration and faculty are very conscious of the students' future needs to be productive citizens. Fayetteville has been awarded the top AP program in the state.
  • Athletically, Fayetteville was named the 19th best high school athletic program in the United States by Sport Illustrated.
  • In basketball, the Bulldogs have won seven conference titles and been conference runner-up four times in the last 16 years. In addition, the Dawgs have been to the State Tournament 13 times in that time, advancing to the Final Four six times and the Championship game in 2005.
  • Many players in the basketball program have gone on to win academic and/or athletic scholarships to some of the finest colleges and universities in the U.S.
