Boys Tennis Coach - Darin Phelan

Coach Phelan is in his third year as head coach of the boys and girls tennis teams. Coach Phelan is a 1993 Fayetteville High Alum and a former Arkansas Razorback Tennis Member. He played tennis at Arkansas from 1995-98. During his career he recorded  49 wins in singles competition and 48 wins in doubles action. After his graduation from the U of A he married Jessica Field, who was the University of Arkansas's first All-American in Volleyball.  He spent six years as the assistant coach for the University of Arkansas, where he received the ITA Regional Assistant Coach of the Year award and coached players all the way to the number one player in college tennis rankings.  Coach Phelan returned to Fayetteville High School in 2008.  Coach Phelan has three children (Tyler, Kennedy, and Lucas).  is excited to return to his Alma Mater.
